Structured Data Audit

Schema markup audit.

Most sites running structured data have errors they can't see — invalid types, missing required fields, markup that contradicts the page, and whole pages with no schema at all. A schema audit finds every one of them, tells you which rich results and AI citations you're leaving on the table, and hands you a ranked list of exactly what to fix.

What a schema audit finds

The errors validators miss.

A free validator tells you whether a single page parses. It won't tell you that your whole site is missing LocalBusiness markup, that your Product schema contradicts your visible prices, or that two plugins are emitting conflicting Organization blocks. A real audit looks across the whole site, against Google's actual guidelines and your real content — and turns "it validates" into "it earns results."

01 — Discovery & extraction

Map what you actually have.

I crawl your site and extract every piece of structured data on it — including the markup you forgot was there, the schema your theme emits silently, and the blocks a plugin added without telling you. You can't fix what you can't see, so we start with a complete inventory.

  • Full-site structured data crawlEvery URL, every schema block, in one inventory.
  • Theme & plugin source checkFind duplicate or conflicting markup from multiple sources.
  • Coverage mapWhich templates have schema, which are bare.
02 — Validation & errors

Every error, with the fix.

Each schema type is checked against Google's requirements and schema.org's spec — missing required fields, invalid values, broken nesting, and the subtle warnings most tools gloss over. You get the specific error, the page it's on, and the corrected code.

  • Required-field & syntax validationAgainst Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator.
  • Rich-result eligibility checkExactly which enhancements each page qualifies for.
  • Content-match & complianceCatch markup that contradicts the page — the cause of manual penalties.
03 — Opportunity & entities

What you're not marking up.

The biggest wins are usually the schema you don't have yet. I identify the high-value types you're missing — LocalBusiness, FAQ, Product, Article, Person — and map the entity connections that make you legible to AI search, not just eligible for a star rating.

No 200-row spreadsheet dump. You get a prioritized roadmap — highest-leverage fixes first — with the corrected JSON-LD ready to paste, a recorded walkthrough of the findings, and the option to have me implement the whole thing.
